In mid-April, old friends Matthias David and Amo Völker set off for California on behalf of Hatje & Canz to create photos for a forthcoming illustrated book.
Plenty of time has been planned and so the two still have the opportunity to realize further projects. Her journey takes her from Los Angeles, to San Diego, to the Coachella Festival in Palm Springs, through Joshua Tree to Las Vegas and back to LA.
From classic photo locations such as Venice Beach, the Sunsetstrip, helicopter flight over LA, Highway 1, San Diego's beach hotel and Coronado film set, famous salt lake Salton Sea, desert landscape Joshua Tree, Old Las Vegas, the Belagio Hotel, via the Interstate 15 route back to LA
